Dear (Congressman/Senator/President), Last summer, Robert Schulz of the We The People Foundation went on a hunger strike on Capitol Hill to protest what he believed to be undeniable proof that the 16th Amendment (income taxes) was never properly ratified. Mr. Schulz ended his hunger strike only after the IRS and DOJ promised to meet with him in a public forum later in the year to answer his questions, but then when the time came, they reneged. I have just seen a website ( http://sacto.com/taxes ) where they are so sure that Mr. Schulz is correct, that they are offering a reward to the first person who can actually prove the 16th Amendment *was* properly ratified. If the federal government can't prove it passed, then how can it be the law of the land? I have a First Amendment right to petition the federal government for a redress of grievances. I wish to excercise my First Amendment right, and I ask you, as my representative, to make the federal government respond to the unanswered questions posted on the We The People Foundation website at http://www.givemeliberty.org Thank you, Signature Block
