20020609 - gek - Not public yet, no changes to report.
This is where I will post specific instructions to all
anonymous and non-anonymous mirror administrators.  I
will also maintain "notes of interest" in this file
for those following "the saga".

20020625 - gek - Just finished the entrance round robin
script and associated frame pages.  Added some
"Spread the Word" tools.  Yesterday mailed (certified)
the Open letter to Floyd L. Williams.  Have lined up
several mirrors, both anonymous and non-anonymous.
As mirrors could be up to 7 days old, the "CASH" value
may be untimely, so have added the latest "CASH" value to the
top page URL string.  (Last number in URL i.e. yyy when
the URL is http://sacto.com/taxes/Indexz.htm?xxx.yyy)

20020627 - gek - Still not public yet, so although many
changes made, none to report.  

20020628 - gek - Talked with Harvey at the Secretary of
State's office just to make sure that I don't need to
register as a PAC or lobbyist or anything before I use
money gifted to me (i.e., my own money) to place ads 
and run a website.  He says, if there's no election 
involved, then I don't need to register.
Also says check with FCC before hitting the airwaves,
they may have disclosure requirements, but he was sure
this would be a pure First Amendment issue, my money,
my speech, end of story.

20020701 - gek - Not public yet, no changes to report.
On advice from CA SoS office, called FCC, talked to 
analyst 'Gayle'.  She says sounds like "paid 
advertisement" to her, nothing to worry about as far
as FCC is concerned.  Also called Sacto DA and talked
to investigator 'Dale', although he explained that what
he had to say couldn't be considered legal advice,
as far as he was concerned, he doesn't see any
"impropriety" with my game plan.
