Send FAXes to any local (
Sacramento) FAX machine.
(Operating since January 94, as a public service of
Sacto.com)
(Discontinued October 1, 1999)
Blame it on the SPAMmers
After months of ever increasing SPAM to the
faxline@sacto.com address, I am reluctantly
discontinuing the free FAX service of Sacto.com
so as to save myself from the bounce messages
cluttering my mailbox.
To all of you who have used the FAX feature in
the last 5 and a half years, I hope it was useful
to you, and I'm sorry that I have run out of
patience to keep complaining to SPAMmers'
ISPs.
Below, you'll find some of the culprits that have
helped ruin this service.
The web now has several free
email to FAX services. Fax4Free
is one that I know works in Sacramento.
Here is a form you can use to test it out.
