Biography

Eva Marie enjoyed drawing since she was a little girl growing up in Nevada City, California. She originally studied art at Nevada Union High  School. She discontinued her study in college and changed her major to Mathematics. After graduating college  with a secondary teaching credential and a Bachelors of Art degree in Mathematics, she became employed in  the computer field. Eva Marie could not help but  miss her art.  With the encouragement and support of family and friends, she resigned from  her computer job April 2001 to pursue her art career.

In addition to being a mom, housewife and artist, Eva Marie runs a business  with her husband, Gerald Klaas. Their home based business, ET Enterprises, specializes in web page design.

Eva Marie also sells handcrafted, beautiful and affordable items such as original watercolor bookmarks, paperweights and Artfelt Earrings. Her bookmarks are a popular item and she likes to say her work is in over one thousand books!
